I am the wife of Ty Moore, so basically all his information is about the same as mine. I grew up around horses, lived on a horse farm growing up. We have three Suffolk Punch beauties. Abe, Clarence and now we have a yearling stud colt that we just purchased a couple months ago. He is out of one of Chris and Lavada Pidcocks mares. He is going to be just as wonderful as our Abe and Clearance are. I do help Ty a lot, but I am behind the scenes taking pictures, videos, helping with anything else that needs to be done. These big red horses are part of our family. They are not just a horse. They are a passion.

I work with the Berea College Forestry department in Berea KY. We are in the process of starting a horse logging program where we are using a team of Suffolk Punch mares to do sustainable horse logging on our 9,000 acre forest and we hope to expand our herd and get more Suffolk punch draft horses in the future. I am the primary care taker of the two mares that the college currently owns. the mares names are Willow of Ridgewind and Mairach Molly.

I am 56, married and live in God's Own County of North Yorkshire (it's an English thing!), the home of author James Herriot. Indeed, Alf White was my husband's vet and his son Jim became our vet when we moved here.
We live on a small holding with our eight dogs (seven French hounds, Griffon Fauve De Bretagne and one elderly Italian Spinone) and four horses. We have a Welsh Section B gelding and a Welsh Section D mare to keep our two Suffolk girls company.
We feel very strongly about preserving our native rare agricultural breeds and I am passionate about the Suffolk Horse in particular. I believe wholeheartedly that this has to be a global effort, utilising the wider gene pool we if we look to use horses on both sides of the Atlantic. My mare is Anglo American; a granddaughter of the late Randy Hiscock's Garretlands Golden Eagle. We bred a beautiful filly foal from her last year.

We welcome you to our farm. We invite you to enjoy our tasty farm products just like we do on our family’s table. Meeting Place Organic Farm is a 100 acre family farm which we have owned and operated since 1973. It is located in SW Ontario, near Lucknow in the picturesque rolling farmland of northern Huron County.
We farm with Suffolk punch and Belgian horses. We have pastured pigs and certified organic grass fed cattle. We produce grass fed beef and drug free pork, organic apples and apple butter, vegetable, herb and heritage tomato seedlings. We cooperate with several other local farms to bring you lamb, maple syrup and honey. We welcome customers to pickup at the farm, but are happy to deliver to Goderich, Kincardine, Kitchener-Waterloo, Guelph, London, and points in-between in Bruce, Grey, Wellington, Perth and Middlesex counties.
