Hello there…Zain here from Waco Tx and I am 33 years old. I am a business owner and family man. I am newly inspired, after much research, by the Suffolk Punch draft horse and am looking to add these beautiful animals to a horse drawn farming endeavor here in central Texas. I am helping to manage a CSA and a large farm that is owned by the community that I and my family are a part of. We are excited to get a few of these majestic horses to help us with the tremendous work of managing this farm without the use of modern machinery. We welcome you to our farm. We invite you to enjoy our tasty farm products just like we do on our family’s table. Meeting Place Organic Farm is a 100 acre family farm which we have owned and operated since 1973. It is located in SW Ontario, near Lucknow in the picturesque rolling farmland of northern Huron County.
We farm with Suffolk punch and Belgian horses. We have pastured pigs and certified organic grass fed cattle. We produce grass fed beef and drug free pork, organic apples and apple butter, vegetable, herb and heritage tomato seedlings. We cooperate with several other local farms to bring you lamb, maple syrup and honey. We welcome customers to pickup at the farm, but are happy to deliver to Goderich, Kincardine, Kitchener-Waterloo, Guelph, London, and points in-between in Bruce, Grey, Wellington, Perth and Middlesex counties.

I'm horse farmer from Williamstown VT been farming with Suffolks for past 3 years. I rake hay and log with my two geldings Woodrow and Virgil. One of the first draft breeds I've gotten to handle after high school was a Suffolk mare and found my breed to work with. Years later I got my own team. Make hay on 20 acres and log firewood out of woods.

Just bought my first weanling filly team in November 2024. I am excited for what the future holds for them. My plans are showing in hitch, halter & riding classes, trailing riding, parades & festivals with the possibility of participating in civil war reenactments. Eventually, I also plan on breeding them to further the breed. Previously, I showed Arabians in 4-H then switched to draft mules.

We have a small farm in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, where we raise and work Suffolk Punch Draft Horses. We've been doing this for the last 40 years or so. We log and farm with our horses. We try to raise as many as we can, produced from good registered Suffolk Mares bred with the best stallion we can find. Our current herd sire is the only imported, English, Suffolk Punch stallion in North America - Eyke Sovereign, ES9035 3396S is proven to reproduce and work. Our mare band is diverse and sons from just about every one could be a potential great sire for someone in North America.
