We have a hobby farm with quite a few critters. We do sleigh rides in the winter. We have 2-2year old suffolk punch horses and 3 12 and 13 year old punches. We love them. They are awesome
We also have 6 percheron.

After many years of trying being interested in Suffolk horses I, through the assistance of others am the owner of a young team of Suffolk mares. Currently I raise Pineywoods cattle, grow sugarcane and other crops and hope to soon be using the Mares to help me with farm chores . Future plans are to raise Suffolks along the way.

Hello there…Zain here from Waco Tx and I am 33 years old. I am a business owner and family man. I am newly inspired, after much research, by the Suffolk Punch draft horse and am looking to add these beautiful animals to a horse drawn farming endeavor here in central Texas. I am helping to manage a CSA and a large farm that is owned by the community that I and my family are a part of. We are excited to get a few of these majestic horses to help us with the tremendous work of managing this farm without the use of modern machinery. Thanks for the opportunity and all the helpful info on your website. I plan to be a long term member if there is anything I can contribute as a team member, please let me know.
Thanks, Zain

Luise and I have raised and still use Canadians. My interest in farming has led us to the Suffolk breed. We have two mature, bred mares and four young mares. I enjoy starting them and driving, we host driving clinics and I am working towards certification as a driving coach in Canada.

My small family is preparing to build a legacy closed-loop farm in OH or PA. We’ll use draft horses and the Suffolk Punch is the lead contender to drive farming implements and leisure carriages/sleighs. I’m quite impressed with their strength, temperament, and stunning beauty, and they are the right size for my purposes.
The reason joined NASHA is to become more familiar with the breed and community in anticipation of potentially purchasing a registered team in the near future.

We are a small family farm that enjoys the use of our horses for work and pleasure. We have a Suffolk/Quarter Horse gelding who has been helpful in many ways. Our hope is to continue to breed Percherons and possibly venture into promoting the Suffolk horse.
